ZOW and Z-TEC are a roaring success!
More than 19 000 visitors flock to Istanbul
Masses visit Istanbul Expo Center: ZOW and Z-TEC attracted more than 19 000 visitors to the city on the Bosporus, making the two trade fairs THE top event for the international furniture sector. This was the second time the ZOW supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design had been held at this location and the premiere for the Z-TEC specialist event for woodworking and furniture production machinery and both went down extremely well. The lion’s share of visitors were Turkish but numerous visitors from Europe, the area around the Black Sea and the Middle East also used the events to find out more about the latest new products.
Exciting trade fair double act in Istanbul
All roads lead to Istanbul, where the second ZOW supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design is taking place at the same time as the premiere of Z-TEC, a new machine trade fair organised by SURVEY, between 1 and 4 October. Around 250 Turkish and foreign exhibitors have registered for ZOW.
ZOW sets new standards in Turkey
Second supplier fair in Istanbul from 1 - 4 October
The sales situation is looking very promising indeed, with over 200 exhibitors having already registered for the second ZOW in Istanbul from 1 - 4 October 2009. They include major Turkish supplier companies such as Kastamonu Entegre, Yildiz Sunta MDF, Starwood, AGT, Roma Plastik, Samet and Cebi Kilit. At the Istanbul Expo Center, they will be presenting new products for surfaces and fittings, semi-finished products, elements and systems, materials and interior design. Furnitex, which will take place at the same time as ZOW, will also be presenting furniture fabrics, leather, microfibre materials and upholstery accessories.

In January 2008, the ZOW supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design got off to an excellent start at the Istanbul Expo Center (Yesilköy) with 180 exhibitors and 14 000 visitors. The world famous ZOW trade fair concept was completely new to the Turkish market and went down very well. From 1 to 4 October 2009 the second ZOW in Istanbul will take place at the same venue. This year it will run in conjunction with the Furnitex supplier fair for the seating and upholstered furniture industry and a new machine trade fair, Z-TEC, which is organised by ZOW organiser Survey in cooperation with Deutsche Messe AG (Hanover).
Outstanding start for the ZOW in Istanbul - 14,000 trade visitors attend the premiere
The ZOW in Istanbul, the suppliers’ show for the furniture and interior design industries (31 January - 3 February 2008) kicked of with a fantastic start. 180 exhibitors from Turkey, Germany, Italy and quite a number of other countries attracted over 14,000 trade visitors to the city on the Bosphorous. Most of the visitors, 75% in fact, came from Turkey, but numerous other visitors from Europe and the Middle East – especially Syria and Iran and – also made the most of the opportunity to find out about the latest supplier innovations, together accounting for 25%.
ZOW in Turkey: Design show in a class of its own - Premiere hosts 150 exhibitors at Istanbul Expo Center
It is a trend show and industry event all rolled into one: on January 31 to February 3, 2008, the first ZOW Suppliers’ Show for the furniture and interior design industries takes place at the Istanbul Expo Center. With the Turkish furniture show opening its doors one day earlier at the same location, the city on the Bosporus will become the main attraction for the furniture industry all over the world. It is a cause for great excitement for exhibitors, visitors, press, trade associations and organizers alike. The countdown is running. The first ZOW supplier show for furniture and interior design industries will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center on January 31st - February 3rd, 2008. Parallely the Turkish furniture fair IMOB will get underway one day earlier at the same venue, making Istanbul the destination of choice for professionals in the international furniture industry. Everyone including exhibitors, visitors, the press, trade associations and the organizer are looking forward to the event. Exhibitor numbers are certainly respectable. Around 130 suppliers from Turkey and abroad will be at the premiere event. The show is being organized by Survey Fuarcilik Danişmanlik Ltd. ŞTİ., Istanbul.
ZOW Double Act with Turkish Furniture Show - Top-line Furniture Event in Istanbul in January 2008
Turkish show organizer, ITF Fairs, has shifted the IMOB 2008 event date to bring it in line with ZOW in Istanbul. Except for the first day, the biggest furniture show in Turkey now takes place at the same time as ZOW on January 31-February 3. The venue for the event is the ultra-modern Istanbul Expo Center directly by Atatürk Airport – with ZOW occupying Halls 9-11 and IMOB in Halls 1-8.
